Active Members: Your 2025 SERS Statement is in the Mail
Your 2025 SERS statement has mailed from our print-and-mail vendor in Claysburg, PA.
While you can view and print your statement in your online account now, we have also mailed you a hard copy. Please allow ten days for delivery.
Your statement provides a snapshot of all your SERS retirement plans as of December 31, 2025, whether you have one or multiple SERS retirement plans. The statement lists the number of beneficiaries you have on file for each plan. Beneficiaries are plan specific, so if you contribute to more than one SERS retirement plan, you will need to name beneficiaries for each plan.
Please review your annual statement for accuracy and keep it with your other important financial documents. Your combined statement will help you plan for your retirement.

Severe Storms Impact In-Person Services
Due to the forecasted storms, the Bensalem, Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, and Wilkes-Barre regional offices are closing early today. Bensalem is closing at 3:00 p.m. and the rest are closing at 12:30 p.m. Plan specialists and other staff will be working remotely to help members.
HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement Board, meeting here today, received investment reports detailing an approximately 13.7% return in 2025 that added approximately $5.2 billion to the SERS Fund for pension benefits. As of Dec. 31, 2025, the SERS Fund totaled $42.6 billion.

SERS 2026 Supplemental Budget Book Released
The budget bookprovides detailed information about the retirement plans SERS administered in 2025 and proposed budgets for commonwealth fiscal year 2026-27. Key data is provided in a budget handout that includes the budget highlights, snapshots of data for each SERS-administered retirement plan, and the 2025 Pension Payments By County map.

Penn SERS Board Receives Reports Detailing Strong Investment Performance, Positive Audits
HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement Board, meeting here today, received reports detailing strong investment performance and positive reports on SERS’ internal controls and actuarial services.

State Employees Report Increase in Unsolicited Offers to Discuss Their State Pension
The Office of Administration has notified us of an increase in employees receiving calls from individuals representing themselves as state pension advisors to discuss the employee’s state pension.
Some calls mention that an appointment for a “pension overview” has been scheduled for them and the caller has the employees’ work email address.
