If after ten business days you haven't received your check, report that to a SERS counseling center staffer by calling 1.800.633.5461.
If the check has not been cashed, we will reissue the check.
If the check has been cashed, we will send a photocopy of the canceled check to you.
Consider Direct Deposit
Payments by direct deposit are deposited into the account of your choice on the last working day of every month and immediately available to you.
If the account you use for direct deposit is closed, your account number changes (which can happen during a bank merger) or for some other reason the direct deposit is not successful, SERS will notify you and a paper check will be sent to your address as listed in your member record.
